STILLNESS
I sat on the rock with my feet dipped in the cold flowing river,
the waves washing away all what made me quiver
the dreams, the what if’s, the constant talks, those decisions,
all came to a halt
INNER WISDOM
The little bird finding the strongest hays
to make a nest and keep the young ones safe
those beautifully carved castles by the tiny ants
with tunnels and caves
SELF AWARENESS
The chirps of the birds,
The gurgling of the streams,
The sound of my steps
I am here and I hear myself breathe
Those vibrant colors
The buzzing of Cicadas
That anticipation
feel of butterflies flutter
The Swell
As you came close,
and gazed in my amber brown eyes
I felt naked and stranded in a frozen lake of ice
My amber eyes so deep and brown,
revealing secrets knowing no bounds
The Inner Divine
As he woke up in the morning,
the sunshine, not radiant to brighten his day,
the beans, not bitter to spike his fatigue away
the thought of the day draining him down,
the weight of the armor making his wits drown
